What is this about?

Enjoy an upfront discount on your first-year premium, free additional insurance coverage or a basic health screening at no charge when you purchase selected AIA insurance plans and/or riders and integrate it with AIA Vitality. 
 
As you level up your AIA Vitality status, you get to boost your premium discount and additional insurance coverage. You may even continue to enjoy basic health screening at no charge every year depending on your AIA Vitality status. 
 
Check out the eligible AIA insurance plans and/or riders that you can enjoy when you integrate it with AIA Vitality. Please note that you must be the insured of the eligible AIA insurance plan and/or rider and have a valid AIA Vitality membership at the point of purchase, as well as at policy renewal, to continue enjoying the insurance benefit.

What will I get?

  1. Enjoy 5% upfront Vitality discount on your first-year premium for selected AIA insurance plans and riders.

  2. Enjoy an additional 5% promotional discount on your first-year premium for selected AIA insurance plans and riders.

  3. Level up your AIA Vitality status and boost your renewal premium discount to a maximum of 15%! Now that's what we call a good deal.

Premium Discount Adjustment

From the second policy year, your Vitality discount for insurance premium may vary depending on your AIA Vitality status nearing policy anniversary.

Year 1
John's Vitality status starts at Bronze.
AIA discount = 5%, Vitality discount = 5%
Year 2
John's Vitality status elevates to Gold.
AIA discount = 0%, Vitality discount = 5% + 1% = 6%
Year 3
John's Vitality status drops to Silver.
AIA discount = 0%, Vitality discount = 6% - 1% = 5%
Year 4
John's Vitality status elevates to Platinum.
AIA discount = 0%, Vitality discount = 5% + 2% = 7%
Year 5
John's Vitality status maintains at Platinum.
AIA discount = 0%, Vitality discount = 7% + 2% = 9%

Need to know

  • The maximum Vitality discount for insurance premium is 15% and the minimum is 0%.

  • The 5% upfront Vitality discount is only applicable to first-year premium based on standard life and will not be applicable on any extra premiums due to loading.

  • Discount applicable from the second policy year onwards will depend on the AIA Vitality status attained and is adjusted against the upfront Vitality discount.

  • The 5% upfront Vitality discount is not applicable for AIA Max VitalCare, AIA Max VitalHealth, AIA Max A Cancer Care Booster and AIA Hospital Income plans.
  • The additional 5% promotional discount is only applicable to first-year premium based on standard life and will not be applicable on any extra premiums due to loading.

  • For each subsequent policy year, the Vitality discount may increase or decrease depending on your AIA Vitality status 45 days before the policy anniversary date.

  • The additional 5% promotional discount on your first-year premium on the selected AIA insurance plans and riders listed above will be valid till 31 December 2024.

  • If you terminate your AIA Vitality membership, your Vitality discount will also cease. Your insurance premium discount will be reduced to 0% starting from the next policy anniversary but your policy(ies) will remain in-force.

  • If you terminate your AIA Vitality membership, you no longer enjoy the AIA Vitality PowerUp Dollar Benefits. Your insurance PowerUp Dollar will be reduced to 0% starting from the next policy anniversary but your policy(ies) will remain in-force.

  2. Level up and maintain your AIA Vitality status at Gold / Platinum every year to continue enjoying the Basic Health Screening at no charge from the second policy year.

Basic Health Screening

The Basic Health Screening covers the measurement of the four basic health metrics at no charge: body mass index, blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol.
 
As AIA Vitality members, you can earn up to 10,000 Vitality points in a membership year with the Basic Health Screening.

Need to know

  • The Basic Health Screening for the first policy year is applicable to all AIA Vitality members who integrate selected AIA insurance plan(s) at the point of purchase, regardless of Vitality status. 
  • AIA Vitality members have the option to upgrade the Basic Health Screening to a more comprehensive package at their own cost and it will be paid directly to the health screening provider.
  • To continue enjoying this benefit from the second policy year, AIA Vitality members must have levelled up and/or maintained at Gold / Platinum Vitality status at the point of policy renewal every year.
  • The Basic Health Screening will be given in the form of an eVoucher within 45 days of the plan's inception/renewal awarded into AIA Vitality's eWallet in My AIA SG app.
  • The eVoucher is non-transferrable, cannot be exchanged for cash, Vitality coins or any other items and will only be valid for six (6) months from the date of issuance and can only be utilized at the designated health screening provider. 
  • Expired eVoucher(s) will not be replaced.
  • Health screening results will be automatically updated by the health screening provider to AIA Vitality provided you have given the health screening provider with the relevant consents and you will receive the Vitality points within 15 working days from date of your health screening. The Vitality points will be dated as per date of health screening in the Vitality points statement. 
  • Regardless of the number of eligible insurance plan(s) you hold, you will only receive one (1) Basic Health Screening eVoucher per Vitality membership year.
  • The Basic Health Screening is offered by WhiteCoat Holdings Pte Ltd in partnership with Health Outreach Programme Pte Ltd.
