Types of screening
There are 2 types of screening available for our insured customers.
Colonoscopy
Colorectal cancer is the one of the most common cancers in Singapore. Early colorectal cancer may not come with any symptoms, and thus it can be difficult to detect without regular screening.
One way to screen for colorectal cancer is colonoscopy, a procedure to detect abnormalities in the large intestine (colon) and rectum.

Mammogram
When breast cancers are detected early, they can be treated and progression to invasive cancers can be prevented. Beyond regular breast self-examination, you can protect yourself against breast cancer by going for mammogram, a screening method that can detect lumps before they can be felt from physical examination.

Steps to use your screening benefit
Customers who reach the eligibility age on the policy anniversary will be automatically enrolled for the complimentary screening.
You may utilise your benefit in 4 simple steps.

Upon receiving SMS / email notification from AIA, you may login to AIA+ to retrieve your screening vouchers.
Schedule an appointment with your preferred clinic / imaging centre from our list of participating screening partners.
Present the following upon registration at the clinic / imaging centre on the day of your screening
- AIA Early Detection Screening Voucher; and
- Your NRIC / FIN / Passport
Collect your health report directly from the screening partner.
The complimentary screening benefit is valid for 1 year from the policy anniversary date. No extension of validity date is allowed.
Important notes
The participating Screening Partners are independent third-party companies. AIA Singapore shall not be held responsible or liable in any way for any action, omission, advice or information that is given or statements made by any service providers or other persons (including healthcare providers) arising from or in connection with the screening.
- Extension of validity of vouchers for the Early Detection Screening benefit is strictly not allowed.
- Insureds may be excluded for this Early Detection Screening Benefit should the participating centre deem the Insured to be unsuitable after medical triage. The partner has the right to abort the procedure should there be false or non-declaration of medical history by the Insured, and any cost incurred in such instances shall be fully borne by the Insured.

Collection and Use of Personal Data: Any and all personal data provided to AIA Singapore will be used to ascertain customers' eligibility to access the services and other information herein. The collection, use, disclosure and retention of customers' personal data is subjected to the AIA Personal Data Policy (Singapore), to which customers agree and accept.
