What will I get?

  • Earn 5 AIA Vitality points daily for clocking a minimum of 7 hours of qualified sleep.

Need to know

  • Qualified sleep refers to a minimum 7 hours of sleep with at least 1 minute's worth of REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, characterised by rapid eye movements, bodily movement, and faster pulse and breathing.
  • You can earn a maximum of 1,000 AIA Vitality points once a year for Sleep Challenge.
  • In order to earn AIA Vitality points for tracking sleeping, please ensure that you have completed the How Well Are You Sleeping? assessment and link your AIA Vitality app to a supported fitness device.
  • A minimum of 420 minutes / seven (7) hours of qualified sleep must be tracked in a 24-hour period in order to earn 5 AIA Vitality points. The 24-hour period runs from midday to midday (12 noon to 12 noon the following day)
  • As long as you're clocking sleep with a supported fitness device, AIA Vitality points will be awarded once you clock at least 7 hours of qualified sleep.
  • AIA Vitality points will be awarded for tracking sleep for one device per day. If you use more than one device to track sleep on the same day, AIA Vitality will only award AIA Vitality points based on the device that tracked the longest sleep duration.
  • Please note that naps of less than an hour are usually not accurately tracked with these devices.
  • AIA Vitality points will reflect on your points statement upon completion of the Sleep Challenge
