About SGFinDex

Singapore Financial Data Exchange (SGFinDex) is the world's first public digital infrastructure developed jointly by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Smart Nation and Digital Government Group (SNDGG), in collaboration with participating financial institutions (FIs).
 
SGFinDex empowers you to have a holistic overview of all your financial information. Through this, you can retrieve your financial information securely from participating FIs - insurers, banks, SGX and government agencies such as CPF, HDB and IRAS by simply using your national digital identity to access your financial information held across FIs and different government agencies.

SGFinDex allows you to securely connect all your financial information and have a consolidated view of your financials at one glance, so that you have greater clarity on your finances and be able to plan more confidently for your future and your family as well as your retirement.

You will require a valid Singpass account and login to AIA+ app.

Singpass is required for the use of SGFinDex. Eligible users without a Singpass account may register for Singpass at https://www.singpass.gov.sg.

Your Initial Consent Period
Your consent period will last for one year from the time your first consent was provided to any participating entity to provide your data through SGFinDex, even if you later provide consents to other participating entities within such one-year period. This is assuming you do not request to retrieve your data from any participating entity from 6th November 2023 and before the end of such one-year period.

For example, if you had provided your first consent to Bank A to provide your data through SGFinDex on  6th November 2023, and subsequently had provided consent to Bank B on 1st January 2024, both consents (i.e., consents to Bank A and B) will expire on  5th November 2024 (i.e. one year from 6th November 2023), assuming you did not request to retrieve your data from any participating entity before 5th November 2024.
 
Activity-Based Consent Renewal
From 6th November 2023, if you request to retrieve your data within the one-year period from the time your first consent was provided, your consent period will be automatically extended to expire one year after the date of such request from any financial institution whose system supports such extension¹.
 
Continuing from the first example above, if you request to retrieve your data from any participating entity at any time between 6th November 2023 and 5th November 2024 (e.g. on 15th November 2023), both consents (i.e., consents to Bank A and B) will be automatically extended for an additional one year from 15th November 2023 and will expire on 14th November 2024¹.

 Before 16th December 2023, (a) should you give an instruction to retrieve your data from HSBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank or United Overseas Bank through any financial planning application/website, your data may not be returned from HSBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank or United Overseas Bank, and your consent period may not be extended by HSBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank or United Overseas Bank; and (b) should you give an instruction to retrieve your data through HSBC Bank's, Standard Chartered Bank's, United Overseas Bank's or CPF Board's financial planning application/websites, your data may not be returned from all financial institutions and your consent period may not be extended by all financial institutions, until the respective system deployment date of HSBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, United Overseas Bank or CPF Board (as the case may be). For enquiries, please contact HSBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, United Overseas Bank and CPF Board respectively.

Yes, you may withdraw consent to share information by following the steps below. After which, the withdrawal will be effected immediately.

  • Authenticate yourself using Singpass
  • Click on "Disconnect"

Your financial information will only be shared after you provide your consent for AIA Singapore to release your information to SGFinDex and for the participating financial institutions to retrieve the information via SGFinDex.

SGFinDex is restricted to releasing your selected MyInfo, insurance and banking data only.
As of now, MyInfo data consist of:
  • CPF Accounts (OA/MA/SA/RA) – For Singaporeans and PRs only
  • Income (Notice of Assessment) – For individuals with income assessment only
  • HDB (Outstanding Loan/Loan Instalment Amount) – For individuals with HDB loans only
Bank data will consist of:
  • Current and savings accounts
  • Fixed deposits
  • Credit cards
  • Loans
  • Unit trusts
  • Supplementary Retirement Scheme holdings (SRS)
  • CPF Investment Scheme holdings (CPFIS) - CPF Accounts (OA/MA/SA/RA) – For Singaporeans and PRs only
SGX data will consist of:
  • Equities
  • Unit trusts
  • Bonds
  • Structured products
  • Any other direct holdings with CDP (excluding SRS and CPFIS)

There are stringent security measures in place to safeguard your personal data that passes through SGFinDex. Your data is encrypted when it is retrieved through SGFinDex and only the financial planning application/website(s) that you have authorised to receive your data is able to decrypt the data. The authentication and authorisation process is underpinned by Singpass.
