What is this about?

The Fitness Assessment consists of the following components:
 
  • Body Composition Assessment
  • Aerobic Test Assessment 
  • Muscle Endurance Assessment
  • Flexibility Assessment
  • Goal Setting 

What will I get?

  1. AIA Vitality members who signed up with Virgin Active are entitled to one (1) complimentary fitness assessment per membership year at any Virgin Active club of your choice.

  2. Get up to 1,000 Vitality points per membership year when you complete the fitness assessment or Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) by earning 500 Vitality points for submitting your results and an additional 500 Vitality points if your fitness assessment results fall within the healthy range, or if you pass your IPPT.

Step 5:

Submit your results

 
Submit your results via email at submissions@aiavitality.com.sg together with the following details to earn Vitality points!
 
Kindly ensure to include:
 
  • Full name
  • AIA Vitality membership number
  • Date of fitness assessment
Vitality points are awarded based on assessment date and you need to submit your assessment results within three (3) months of assessment date in order to earn Vitality points.

Need to know

Always get advice from a healthcare professional before starting any exercise programme.

The following is advised before you go for the assessment:
 
  • Fitness Assessments are strictly by appointments only.
  • Food consumption should be avoided at least 90 minutes before the appointment.
  • Smoking should be avoided 30 minutes prior to blood pressure being measured.
  • Caffeine should be avoided up to 3 hours before the assessment.
  • Alcohol consumption should be avoided for 24 hours before participation in exercise.
  • Avoid exercise or strenuous physical activity on the day of the test.
  • Avoid performing abnormally strenuous activity on the day prior to the assessment.
  • Clothes suitable for exercise should be worn.
Your results are in the healthy range if your heart rate beats per minute is above average or better, according to your age

* There is no limit to the number of fitness assessments you can undergo in a year, but you will only be awarded a maximum of up to 1,000 Vitality points once per membership year.

* Vitality points will take up to seven (7) days to reflect on your points statement after submission of your result.
