This plan is designed just for women, providing affordable protection for female-related illnesses such as Breast Cancer and Osteoporosis. The plan also provides protection for pregnancy complications and 26 common Critical Illnesses.
Benefits
AIA Woman of Wisdom offers four flexible plans to choose from. Depending on the plans selected, the plans offer up to a maximum basic Insured Amount of S$100,000.
Payout up to S$100,000 for female-related Illness
Receive a maximum lump sum benefit of up to 100% of the Insured Amount, or up to S$100,000, upon diagnosis of Female Cancers, Lupus (S.L.E. with Lupus Nephritis) and Rheumatoid Arthritis. The plan also pays out up to S$30,000 upon diagnosis of Osteoporosis and up to S$20,000 upon early diagnosis of Female Carcinoma In-Situ. There is also a reimbursement benefit of up to S$100,000 for Reconstructive Surgery due to accidents or accidental burns. The latter is a one-time benefit, meaning you may claim only once during the life of the policy.
Basic coverage for 26 Critical Illnesses
Receive up to 50% of the Insured Amount, or up to S$50,000, upon diagnosis of any of the listed 26 Critical Illnesses (Refer to the brochure for list of 26 critical illnesses). This is a one-time benefit, meaning you may claim only once during the life of the policy.
Extra protection for pregnancy complications
A lump sum Maternity Benefit of up to 20% of the Insured Amount, or up to S$20,000, will be paid out if you are diagnosed with a pregnancy complication1. This is a one-time benefit, meaning you may claim only once during the life of the policy.
Monthly income while you recuperate
Should you be diagnosed with any of the listed female-related illnesses and are unable to return to work for more than 6 consecutive months2, the plan will pay out a monthly income of S$1,000 starting from the 7th month up to a maximum of 12 months. The disability must begin within one year of the diagnosis. This benefit is not applicable for Maternity Benefit or Critical Illness claims. This is a one-time benefit, meaning you may claim only once during the life of the Policy.
Daily cash upon hospitalisation
Should you be hospitalised due to any of the female-related illnesses or Critical Illnesses within 1 year of diagnosis of the illness, you will receive a sum of S$200 for each day of hospitalisation, subject to a maximum of 180 days for the same sickness or disease. This benefit is not applicable for Maternity Benefit claims.
Regular medical check-ups
The plan also offer free medical check-ups once every 2 years, starting from the 3rd year of the policy.

1Covered pregnancy complications include Maternity Death, Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (D.I.C.), Fatty Liver of Pregnancy, Choriocarcinoma and Hydatidiform Mole, Ectopic Pregnancy, Pre-eclampsia, Miscarriage due to Accident. The pregnancy must commence before the Insured’s 45th birthday and the policy must have been effective for 12 consecutive months.
