AIA Star Shield

Accidents were the number one cause of hospitalisation
in Singapore in 2008*

Certain illnesses and accidents are more prevalent among children than adults, so AIA Star Shield has been designed to offer enhanced protection for your precious little ones. This plan should not be considered as an alternative to a basic medical expense reimbursement plan (such as AIA HealthShield Gold Max), but provides additional protection against such incidents as Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease, Dengue Fever, Food Poisoning, and 17 Child Critical Illnesses (an optional benefit). The plan also offers cash payouts in the event of accidental death or dismemberment, and provides an educational bursary in the event of accidental death of the parent policyholder.
