AIA Solitaire Personal Accident provides financial assistance with the costs associated with accidental injuries, disability and death to help you and/or your family cope with life changes which may come about as a result of an accident. The plan has been designed to complement your existing medical insurance plans and can be tailored to offer protection against a variety of modern-day risks.

Because we recognise that everyone's needs are different, AIA Solitaire Personal Accident allows you to choose from four levels of protection and enhance your basic protection with optional benefits.

Basic Benefits:

  • Financial assistance to cope with the impact of a serious accident that leads to the loss of limbs, the loss of use of limbs, third degree burns or even permanent and total disability
  • Financial security for your loved ones in case of your death
  • Coverage for 'accidental' medical bills and even Traditional Chinese Medicine/Chiropractic treatment
  • Protection against additional risks such as food poisoning, animal or insect bites (e.g. dengue fever) and injuries sustained while engaging in amateur sports on a recreational basis (e.g. skiing and football)
  • Renewal bonuses worth up to 25% extra coverage**

Optional Benefits:

When you sign up for AIA Solitaire Personal Accident you have the flexibility to include one or both of the following optional benefits groups in addition to the basic benefits.

  1. Lifestyle Maintenance Benefits
    • Weekly income benefit for temporary total/partial disability
    • Reimbursement for mobility aids (e.g. wheelchairs)
    • Reimbursement for home modifications (e.g. widening of doorways and special bathroom adaptations for wheelchair users)
    • Extra cash payout to your family in the event of your death or permanent and total disability
  2. Accidental Hospitalisation Benefits
    • Daily cash income while you are hospitalised due to an accident
    • Extra cover for broken bones
    • Reimbursement for ambulance fees
