AIA Pink of Health provides you with cash during your hospital stay. So if you are concerned about the loss of income due to hospitalisation, or might need help with other expenses beyond your hospital bills, you may want to consider this plan. If you already have a medical expense reimbursement plan such as AIA HealthShield Gold Max, but do not have enhanced coverage for the deductible and co-insurance portions, you might also want to consider AIA Pink of Health as the plan offers a limited medical expense reimbursement benefit which is not subject to deductible and co-insurance. And since all of AIA Pink of Health benefits apply to hospitalisation and medical treatment whilst overseas, this is a plan that AIA HealthShield Gold Max Essential policyholders could also consider.
Benefits
AIA Pink of Health offers three flexible plans to choose from. Benefits below represent the coverage provided by AIA Pink of Health plan 3.
Daily Hospital Cash
The plan provides you with income, in the form of a cash payout during hospital stays, allowing you to focus on getting better without worrying about your hospital bills and additional expenses.
Receive a daily cash payment of S$250 per day (up to a maximum of 500 days1) if you are admitted to hospital due to sickness, and S$750 per day for hospitalisation due to accident. If you are admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, you will receive an additional ICU Benefit of S$750 per day (up to a maximum of 30 days). All benefit limits stated apply to the Same Confinement2.
Comprehensive health coverage
AIA Pink of Health provides you with these additional benefits to give you comprehensive coverage in the event you are hospitalised due to sickness or accident. Benefit limits indicated below apply to the Same Confinement2 unless stated otherwise:
Pre-hospitalisation Tests & Services Reimbursement
Claim up to S$1,000 for charges for pre-hospitalisation tests and services recommended by a doctor incurred within 30 days prior to the date of hospitalisation.
Post-hospitalisation Tests & Services Reimbursement
Claim up to S$2,000 for charges for post-hospitalisation tests and services recommended by a doctor incurred within 60 days from the date of discharge.
Day Surgery Reimbursement
Claim up to S$1,000 for charges for Day Surgery. This benefit limit applies per accident or sickness.
Emergency Outpatient Treatment (Accident) Reimbursement
Claim up to S$1,000 for charges for emergency outpatient treatment due to accident. This benefit limit applies per accident.
Receive reimbursement for your medical expenses
Claim up to S$6,000 for hospital expenses incurred within one year of an accident or sickness.

You are discouraged from switching from an existing accident and/or health insurance policy to a new one without considering whether the switch is detrimental, as there may be potential disadvantages with switching. A penalty may be imposed for early policy terminations and the new policy may cost more or have fewer benefits at the same cost.
