You may make ad hoc top-ups any time you like, or implement regular top-ups. Your source of top-up premium funding must be the same as your initial investment. Your top-up premium will be invested according to your original fund allocation unless you have elected to change your fund allocation for ad hoc and / or regular top-ups.
For ad hoc top-ups, the minimum top-up amount is S$1,000, with a per fund minimum of S$50. If you funded your initial investment using cash (as opposed to SRS), you may make your top-up using cash, nets, cheque, bank draft, internet banking, telegraphic transfer, or vPost. You will need to submit a transaction request form along with any payment (if relevant) to AIA. This form is available here.
You may implement regular top-ups at a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual frequency. The minimum top-up amount is S$300 for monthly or quarterly, S$500 for semi-annual, and S$1,000 for annual top-ups. In addition to the payment methods available for ad hoc top-ups, you may also use GIRO for regular top-ups. You may implement your regular top-ups at the point of application by indicating your preference on the application form. You may implement regular top-ups at any time after application by submitting a transaction request form along with any payment instruction (if relevant) to AIA. This form is available here.
