Total Permanent Disability: 1% of sum assured paid out for 100 months after a waiting period of 12 months. Percentage of Principal Sum payable for Permanent Disability not set forth in the above schedule shall in its absolute discretion be determined by the Company. If the Assured is left-handed, the Percentage for the various disabilities of right hand and left hand will be transposed.

AIA PAL Benefits
Accidental Death, Dismemberment (ADD) and Permanent Disability Benefit
In the event of an accident which results in any of the losses as defined in the ADD Schedule, the Assured shall be paid up to 150% of the Principal Sum Assured.

Double Indemnity on Private Conveyance
The Principal Sum Assured shall be doubled in the event the Assured suffers any losses as defined in the ADD Schedule while operating or travelling on a licensed private road vehicle.

Triple Indemnity on Public Conveyance
The Princiapl Sum shall be tripled in the event the Assured suffers any losses as defined in the ADD Schedule while travelling as a passenger on a public conveyance such as taxi, bus, MRT train and aeroplane.

Income Replacement
In the event of total permanent disability due to an accident, this plan provides a disability payout of up to the amount assured. 10% of the sum assured will be payable on the 6th month of such disability and the remaining 90% sum assured will be payable on the 12th month of disability.

Medical Reimbursement
In the event of an accident, the plan shall reimburse in-patient and outpatient medical expenses incurred, up to the amount assured. A maximum amount of S$500 shall be payable for treatment by a registered Chinese Bonesetter, Acupuncturist or Chiropractor.

Double Medical Reimbursement Whilst Overseas
The Medical Reimbursement shall be doubled if injury is sustained overseas and treatment is sought while abroad. This plan shall reimburse in-patient and out-patient medical expenses incurred up to the amount assured.

Weekly Indemnity (Optional)
In the event of an accident which prevents the Assured from returning back to work, the Assured shall receive a weekly income based on the amount assured, up to a maximum of 52 weeks.

Emergency Evacuation and Repatriation Benefit (Optional)
A) If the Assured meets with a serious accident or illness while outside Singapore or the Home Country and requires expert medical assistance or emergency evacuation to transfer the Assured to the nearest appropriate medical centre or back to Singapore for appropriate treatment, AIA shall pay for the emergency evacuation service provided by AIAS including transportation, medical services and medical supplies incurred up to the amount assured.

B) In the event of an accident death whilst overseas, the repatriation benefit shall be payable for the transfer of the mortal remains of the Assured back to Singapore or the Home Country.
