What We Provide Cash Coverage For
Catastrophic Disabilities A monthly catastrophe cash benefit of up to $360,000 is payable for up to 240 months if your child suffers from the following: coma, paralysis, loss of or the permanent total loss of use of 2 limbs, permanent loss of sight in both eyes, loss of or the permanent total loss of use of 1 limb and permanent total loss of sight of 1 eye.
Medical Reimbursement AIA Child Accident Shield pays up to $3,500 for all outpatient and hospitalisation expenses incurred within 52 weeks from the date of the accident.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment If your child suffers from any of the listed injuries and losses within 365 days from the date of the accident, we will pay up to $52,500, an amount equal to the percentage of Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefit (Principal Sum).
Double Indemnity for Dismemberment AIA Child Accident Shield pays two times or up to $105,000, for any of the dismemberment losses listed in the policy, such as permanent loss of sight in both eyes, permanent total loss of hearing and permanent loss of speech when your child sustains an injury during school or school organised activities and journey to and from school.
Double Medical Reimbursement for Fixation of Artificial Limbs Should an accident result in your child needing an artificial limb, the plan pays up to twice the sum assured of the Medical Reimbursement benefit, up to $7,000.
Daily Accidental Hospital Income Benefit Should hospitalisation be required due to an accident, the plan will pay the Daily Accidental Hospital Income Benefit up to $80 a day for a maximum of 30 days per accident.
Double Daily Accidental Hospital Income Benefit for ICU If your child needs to be warded in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as a result of an accident, the plan will pay an additional amount equivalent to the Daily Accidental Hospital Income Benefit up to $160 per day for a maximum of 30 days per accident.
