AIA HealthShield Gold incorporates MediShield and helps to cover large hospital bills with:
You have lifetime medical coverage of up to $5,000,000, including room and board at up to $830 per day.
You will receive up to $100,000 lifetime coverage for hospitalisation and outpatient treatments after diagnosis with cancer.
You can use your CPF Medisave to pay the premium, up to $800 per person per year. However, if you are 81 age next birthday and above from 1 December 2008, you can use up to $1,150 from your CPF Medisave Account per policy year for every person covered. Any excess premium can be paid in cash.
You are guaranteed coverage up to the age of 100, regardless of your health condition or the number of claims you have made, provided you have not exceeded the lifetime limit of your plan.
